BRAVIA(TM) Internet Video Delivers On-line TV Programmes to the Living Room
BERLIN, September 2/PRNewswire/ -- Sony today announced its European launch plan of new BRAVIA(TM) TVs,
Blu-ray Disc players and Blu-ray home cinema systems with a new feature,

In Europe and elsewhere, more people are watching longer forms of videos
on their PCs than ever before. "This trend continues to grow, fuelled by
broadcasters' TV programming available on-line", said Fujio Nishida,

watching full length TV programmes on a PC, by bringing that content to the
TV in the Living Room."
BRAVIA(TM) Internet Video will enable viewers to experience on-line TV
programmes in a natural, relaxing position in the Living Room through
BRAVIA(TM) TVs, Sony Blu-ray Disc Players or Blu-ray home cinema systems
available in early 2010. With Sony's Emmy Award winning XMB(TM)
(XrossMediaBar), BRAVIA(TM) Internet Video will free viewers from the
limitations of TV scheduling and provide internet based TV services direct to
the television.
