Innovative feature connects fans across Michigan to the Tigers like never before
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast, FOX Sports Detroit and the Detroit Tigers today announced that they have partnered to launch FOX Sports Detroit: Tigers On Demand, an innovative feature giving Tigers fans throughout Michigan unprecedented access to complete Tigers game action and related programming anytime they want. FOX Sports Detroit: Tigers On Demand is available at no additional cost to Comcast Digital Cable customers in Michigan starting today.
FOX Sports Detroit: Tigers On Demand provides fans with around-the-clock access on their own televisions to the most recent game telecast, re-aired in its entirety. The game broadcasts will be available On Demand beginning two hours after the end of each contest for a limited period of time.

Additional content currently available at FOX Sports Detroit: Tigers On Demand includes: a selection of baseball memories featuring broadcasting legend Ernie Harwell; the network's acclaimed "Tigers Weekly" special on the late Mark Fidrych titled 'Remembering the Bird,' in memory of the former Tigers pitching phenom; and an installment of "FSN Basement: All-Star Edition" from 2005 featuring lengthy conversations with Tigers legends Al Kaline and George Kell. Also to be included are episodes of "Your Tiger Ticket," a Comcast-exclusive 30-minute program focused on behind-the-scenes stories about the Tigers organization. Comcast, FOX Sports Detroit and the Tigers will collaborate to add additional On Demand content throughout the remainder of the 2009 season and beyond.

The new programming can be easily accessed by selecting the "Get Local" category from the On Demand menu and then "FS Tigers."
