Gorgeous, Savvy Latinas Compete to Become Si TV's Model Latina

MIAMI, July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Si TV, the television network dedicated to inspiring and entertaining American Latinos, announced today its hit series Model Latina (www.sitv.com/modellatina) will return for a second season on August 2 at 9pm ET/PT. The original series showcases 15 stunning, fiercely determined women as they call upon their inner strength, beauty and intellect to prove they have what it takes to be this year's Model Latina. Miami's super-hot South Beach is home to this year's series where the extraordinary women will compete for the lucrative, career-building prizes and the coveted title of Model Latina.

The 15 finalists represent numerous hometowns across the country.

-- The uplifting and entertaining 13-episode series is unlike other
modeling competitions. Model Latina Miami shows how the contestants
strive to balance their Latino traditions with American culture from
both a business and social perspective. Each episode has the
participants facing rigorous challenges, testing them to be as much
role models as they are runway models.

An expert panel of judges, which include TV personality Jai Rodriguez, celebrity stylist Jorge Ramon, actress/supermodel Jennifer Gimenez and Q Management's Jeffrey Kolsrud offer critical feedback and mentor the contestants throughout the entire series. Designers Anel Verna and Nicole Sainz, Miami Social and former Apprentice star Katrina Campins and actor Alfonso "Poncho" de Anda are among the diverse judges lending their expertise to the core panel to help find the newest Model Latina.
