Fever City Studio Wins Its Third Emmy(R) Award With TV Pilot

DENVER, July 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Fever City Studio, LLC, a Denver-based creative agency, announced today that they received their third Emmy(R) Award for Best Program in Politics and Government from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Heartland Chapter. The Emmy(R) goes to "DCSO Episode 1," a TV pilot created with The Network DC in Douglas County, Colorado.

Michael McIntyre, owner of Fever City Studio, said the third Emmy(R) is a welcome addition to his company's growing trophy case. "I really enjoyed creating this show with such a great team and this award celebrates good television," he said. "Both Fever City Studio and The Network DC keep winning awards with quality shows, often competing with big news and bigger production companies."

"DCSO Episode 1" gives viewers a unique look at the Douglas County Sheriff's Office in an effort to raise community awareness and strengthen the bond between the agency and citizens. McIntyre is credited as Producer, Editor and Co-Creator with Kelly L. Seeman, Series Producer. David Schler served as Executive Producer with Cocha Heyden, Series Producer.

McIntyre has produced and edited for more than 15 years, and launched Fever City Studio in 2005 to develop original programming and better serve his clients. Some of these include: Discovery, ABC, Disney, DreamWorks, Universal, Warner Brothers, DISH, TLC, HGTV and Military Channel. In addition, McIntyre continues to create "Hollywood One on One," hosted and executive produced by Scott Patrick. The award-winning program features new film releases and interviews with movie stars, and airs weekly in over 200 countries.

Fever City's Emmy(R) award was presented at the National Academy for Television Arts and Sciences 2009 Heartland Regional Awards on July 18 with ceremonies in Denver and Oklahoma City. Ninety-seven awards were announced from the two locations. NATAS Heartland Region is one of 19 geographical regions across the country, and includes television markets in several states including Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and Wyoming.
