Cox Names Kim Stanley Vice President of Operations in Roanoke

CHESAPEAKE, Va., July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications has named Kim Stanley as Vice President of Operations for the Roanoke, Virginia organization. Ms. Stanley's responsibilities include day-to-day management of the Roanoke operation, strategic development of personnel, and financial performance and growth of the operation. Ms. Stanley will report to Mr. Gary McCollum, Cox General Manager and Senior Vice President, who now oversees both the Hampton Roads and Roanoke operations.

Prior to her new position, Ms. Stanley was Vice President of Cox Business in Roanoke. Before joining Cox, she was with Level 3 Communications and served as their Vice President of Partner Sales East, as well as their Regional Vice President of Sales and Operations. In addition, Ms. Stanley has held various leadership positions at KMC Telecom and MCI Communications.

Ms. Stanley currently serves on the New Virginia Corridor Technology Council, Roanoke County Prevention Council, Roanoke Business Council, as well as the Better Business Bureau and Virginia Cable and Telecommunications Boards. She attended Mary Baldwin College and completed the Hollins University Batten Leadership Program.
