Celebrities Go Kashless
SEATTLE, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- As sustainable and cost-conscious living becomes a paramount concern for the global consumer even celebrities are taking part in making the world a greener, thriftier place.
Dave Dederer, former singer and guitarist for the 90s hit-makers The Presidents of the United States of America, has partnered with eco-friendly free online marketplace, Kashless.org to kick off its first Celebrity Donation Program.

"We're so excited to have someone of Dave's stature get involved," says Kashless.org's founder Martin Tobias. "Dave understands the need for helping the environment and he also understands the struggle of everyday Americans."
Visitors to the site will be given the chance to "make an offer" on the skis, beginning Wednesday, July 22, 2009. The famous guitar will be posted in early August. Of course, given the nature of Kashless.org, people won't be making a monetary offer, but instead offering their words, explaining why they should be given the item over others.
Kashless.org helps consumers give and get reusable and recyclable items locally and nationally for free. Like eBay, except no money is ever exchanged, Kashless.org is the most viable venue for those who want to get rid of stuff and help the environment in the process.
On top of the environmental benefits, Dave says, "I just don't like to have too much stuff. [With Kashless] we both come out ahead!"
And in a world where used is good and free is better, Kashless.org is a really good bet for everyday essentials.
Kashless.org is the free, online way to recycling products and services between people. Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, Kashless.org was founded by Martin Tobias in 2008, with funding from RRE Ventures, NYC.
Dave Dederer, a former guitarist and singer for the band Presidents of the United States of America, is a Seattle native and vice president of business development at Molodeo, a web/mobile media company.
