Bob Grant and Richard Bey Return to the Broadcasting World on UBATV
Two broadcasting legends debut on Internet TV outlet, UBATV.com
NEW YORK, July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- UBATV.com is pleased to announce that two of New York's most well known broadcasters are joining their daily weekday lineup with one hour shows of their own.
Bob Grant, the conservative firebrand, who has been heard by radio listeners on KABC in Los Angeles, WWDB in Philadelphia and most notably on WMCA, WOR, and WABC in New York in addition to many other stations in national syndication, has begun hosting "Straight Ahead with Bob Grant" each morning from 8-9 AM, which airs live on www.ubatv.com and is available on demand to internet users throughout the day. The unique format of the show not only allows Bob to offer his unique perspective on the news of the day, but will feature cutting edge interviews with guests from across the political spectrum, as well as interaction with viewers both by phone and in the UBATV chat room. The show which originates from Grant's Manalapan, NJ home is an intimate, no frills conversation with the viewer filled with the passion, energy, wit and intellect that Grant is famous for. "This is the future!" adds Grant, "There is no better way to describe internet broadcasting. In many ways it could dominate the media landscape and UBATV is in the vanguard."
Richard Bey, who is a familiar face to scores of TV viewers because of his success with "Nine Broadcast Plaza" and "The Richard Bey Show" on WWOR, to radio listeners through his hosting efforts on WABC and WWRL and who can currently be seen in one of the most entertaining scenes in the new hit film, "Bruno", is hosting a daily talk show at 10:00 AM each day. Richard breaks down the news of the day with the viewers in a cutting edge, interactive manner. Richard hosts the show live from UBATV's state of the art street side studio in downtown Manhattan. Richard combines a knowledge of public affairs and current events that is second to none with an ability to be irreverent and fun in a manner that few others can.
According to Mr. Bey, "For a decade, people have been talking about it. Over the last few years some have dreamed about doing it. Today, throughout the industry it is a common and accepted belief that the future of television will be found through a computer with an internet connection. As a 20-year veteran of traditional television formats, I have been approached several times to join ventures that would attempt to meld these technologies. I have passed on the offers. John Tabacco has created the first one that has the vision, the IT technology, a young and creative staff and capital resources to actually make LIVE internet entertainment a reality. I am excited to be a part of this pioneering program. The Richard Bey Show helped change the shape of television. Now, UBATV is poised to change it again!"
John Tabacco, the CEO of UBATV and the co-host, of Coffey and Tabacco, the show that airs between the two added, "We couldn't be more thrilled to add Richard and Bob to our lineup. I truly believe that UBATV is the future of broadcasting and adding two remarkable talk talents like this brings us a step closer to that future. Their diverse views on the day's top stories, coupled with their unique ability to entertain, are helping to make ubatv.com your on-line one stop shop for information, news and entertainment."
