Weitzman Selected as Exclusive Leasing Agent at Dobie Mall

AUSTIN, Texas, June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Austin's No. 1 private dorm, Dobie Center, has announced that it has selected The Weitzman Group as the exclusive leasing agent for Dobie Mall. The Dobie Mall features 65,000 square feet of retail space on two levels at 2021 Guadalupe Street, across from the University of Texas at Austin, and is located directly below the 27-story Dobie Tower which houses 900 students. Just steps away from the University of Texas campus, the Dobie Mall benefits from more than 47,000 students within one block, as well as a residential population of more than 26,000 within a one-mile radius.

Matt Epple with the Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group will direct leasing at Dobie Mall. The Dobie Mall features a wide variety of entertainment, food and retail offerings, as well as the historic four-screen Dobie Theatre where Oscar nominated director Richard Linklater premiered Dazed and Confused, and a 500-seat food court on its second level. Dobie Mall is proud to have recently added The Princeton Review, one of the world's most prestigious admissions and educational testing companies, to its roster.

Dobie Mall features retail uses that include a bookstore, convenience store, specialty retail uses and a number of restaurants. Services include hair, nail and tanning salon, a bank and a copy center.
