Radio Disney AM 640 will provide music and a fabulous prize wheel. Girls ages 14 and under can register to win four (4) tickets to Disney's Broadway musical, The Little Mermaid, and dinner at a New York City restaurant.
Finalists arrive Saturday morning for a full weekend itinerary:
-- Preliminary on-stage and dress rehearsals
-- Performance tips from a professional musician and a make-up artist
-- A chance to meet Radio Disney AM 640's Stylin' Steph
-- Free time for socializing and group activities, before an overnight
stay
Camp Jam will provide an exciting backdrop to GSEP's Summer Camp Open House, where visitors can tour the facilities, meet Camp counselors and former campers, and learn about available programs -- all of which include American Red Cross-certified swim lessons, pool recreation time, arts and crafts, nature programs and special events:
-- Girl Scout Camps are open to all girls, ages 6 to 18
-- Girls do not need to be registered Girl Scouts to attend or
participate in camp programs (a $10 membership fee is required for
non-registered girls)
-- All programs include American Red Cross-certified swim lessons, pool
recreation time, arts and crafts, nature programs and special events
-- Campership grants are available to help defray program costs on a
first-come, first-served basis, pending financial eligibility

WHY SUMMER CAMP?
Child development studies demonstrate that youngsters who spend time in the outdoors have improved cognitive function, self-esteem, discipline -- and laugh more than children who do not. Natural environments can also provide a healing effect for youngsters facing emotional challenges.
