U.S. Selecciones Magazine to Close

U.S. Selecciones Magazine to Close

NEW YORK, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. edition of Selecciones magazine will close after the June issue, it was announced today by The Reader's Digest Association, Inc. (RDA), its publisher. Eva Dillon, President of Reader's Digest Community, said the company had determined that the edition no longer is a viable long-term business.

"Reader's Digest Community is committed to sustainable, long-term growth, and this move allows us to commit our resources to new opportunities that will have the most potential for successful performance in today's marketplace," Dillon said.

The decision does not affect Selecciones in 17 other countries, where it continues as a powerful global brand distributed in Latin America and Europe.
