WXYZ Hosts Final Mayoral Debate

WHAT: Live, one hour, Detroit Mayoral Debate featuring candidates Mayor
Ken Cockrel, Jr. and Detroit Businessman Dave Bing as they square
off in the final televised debate prior to the May 5th election.
The debate will be broadcast LIVE on WXYZ-TV and simulcast on
News/Talk 760 WJR (760 on the AM dial) and WMXD 92.3 FM (The
Mix). The debate is also sponsored by the Michigan Chronicle.

WHEN: Thursday, April 23
8:00pm (Press check-in 7pm)

WHERE: WXYZ-TV / Channel 7, 20777 West 10 Mile, West of Evergreen Road,
Southfield

WHO: The debate will be moderated by Channel 7 Editorial and Public
Affairs Director Chuck Stokes. The candidates will be questioned
in front a live studio audience by a panel of journalists including
Channel 7 Action News Anchor Stephen Clark, News/Talk 760 WJR
Assistant News Director Lloyd Jackson, Radio Talk Show Host Frankie
Darcell from the Mix and Senior Editor Bankhole Thompson from the
Michigan Chronicle.
