Greater Cleveland Flute Society Presents the Cleveland Composers Connection Concert on Sunday, April 26

CLEVELAND, April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The Greater Cleveland Flute Society (GCFS) will host the Cleveland Composers Connection, a concert highlighting Cleveland-area composers and their flute compositions. Composers featured in this year's concert are: Jason Bahr, Larry Baker, Brian Dykstra, Bryan Kennard, Katharine O'Connell, and Jeffrey Quick.

"This concert is a wonderful opportunity for flutists to hear some of the latest pieces being written for flute and composers to connect with a very interested audience," said Becky Chen, president, GCFS. "This year's concert includes some beautiful compositions, both published and unpublished, and we are very excited to present this wonderful program of music."

The concert will be held on Sunday, April 26, at 7:00 p.m. at Judson Manor, 1890 E. 107th Street, Cleveland, Ohio. The event is free and open to the public.

Established in 1997, the Greater Cleveland Flute Society is dedicated to furthering the interest of flutes through performance and education for the enrichment of the community and individual members.
