Emagine Entertainment, Inc. will offer qualifying guests and their immediate family members FREE MOVIES along with FREE SODA AND POPCORN from Monday, April 27th through Thursday, April 30th.

"As a locally-owned business, we are deeply grateful for the support we have enjoyed in the communities in which we operate. During these challenging economic times, it is our responsibility to reach out and try to bring cheer to those who have fallen upon hard times." said Paul Glantz, founder and chairman of Emagine Entertainment, Inc. "Leaving home to see a first-run film is deeply ingrained in our culture, and it is a wonderful family activity. We are pleased to provide this opportunity for a bit of escapism, even if only for a short period of time, to those who may not otherwise have the means to enjoy a trip to the movies."

Emagine's theatres are widely regarded as among the finest in each of the markets they serve. The company has been in the forefront of technology building the first "all-stadium" theatre in Michigan, and it was the first theatre circuit in the country to convert all of its screens to digital projection technology. Its theatres have been voted the "Best in Michigan" by many media outlets including The Detroit News, The Detroit Free Press, WDIV, The Observer & Eccentric, and The Metro Times. Long recognized as having excellent customer service and impeccable facilities, Emagine's theatres are considered a favorite place to see a film by its 2.0 million annual guests.

Tickets will be available beginning on April 27th, and they will be offered to qualifying patrons based on the honor system. Any Michigan resident 18 years of age or older and actively seeking employment may simply come to the box office and request Emagine's "Movie Magic Package." Immediate family members who accompany a qualifying individual are also welcome. Each member of the family will receive free admission, free popcorn, and free soda. Tickets will be offered on a first come-first serve basis from Monday, 4/27/09 through Thursday, 4/30/09 until 11 p.m. each day.

Emagine Entertainment, Inc. operates three theatres in Michigan with a total of 46 screens. This summer, Emagine will open a new 10-screen facility in Woodhaven, Michigan.
