All DVDs purchased through the official movie website store come with a free movie poster, a value of $19.99. Visitors to the site can also now purchase a limited-edition exclusive movie poster signed by Kristen Stewart (Twilight) and the film's award-winning director, Mary Stuart Masterson (Fried Green Tomatoes).

The Cake Eaters, a riveting small town family drama follows two interconnected families as they discover love in the face of devastating loss. Critic, Rex Reed explains that because of Masterson's direction and the superior ensemble acting, the film feels like "you're not watching a movie, but hanging out with friends." Stewart, the film's lead, plays a young girl suffering from a terminal illness and critics agree it is one of the actress' best performances to date, with Roger Ebert calling her work in the film "remarkable."

The film, which was distributed by 7-57 Releasing and was co-produced by 57th & Irving Productions and The 7th Floor, also features stand-up performances by Aaron Stanford (X-Men 2), Bruce Dern (Big Love), the legendary Elizabeth Ashley (currently: August: Osage County), and Academy Award nominated, Melissa Leo (Frozen River).
