MovieSet.com Gives Movie Fans 'LIVE DEATH' With Daily Behind the Scenes Access on the Set of 'DEATH WARRIOR'
LOS ANGELES, March 13 /PRNewswire/ -- MovieSet.com, the pioneering movie site that takes fans behind the scenes of major motion pictures to give them a first-hand look at movies in production, is ready on the set of DEATH WARRIOR to deliver exclusive daily updates and provide fans with LIVE DEATH streaming access during actual production.
DEATH WARRIOR, an action-packed movie set to bring the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) phenomena to life, features five of the best Mixed Martial Arts champions from around the world including Georges St-Pierre, Quinton 'Rampage Jackson,' Keith Jardine, Rashad Evans and Hector Echavarria. In the movie, the fighters must fight to the death in a race against time, which leads up to an ultimate showdown where there can be only one Death Warrior. The film, currently in production in Toronto, Canada, is being produced by Sean Buckley of Buck Productions, directed by Bill Corcoran and will be distributed by Grindstone Entertainment Group and Lions Gate Entertainment towards the end of 2009.
"MovieSet is thrilled to be able to provide behind-the-scenes access to fight fans and film fans alike," says MovieSet CEO, Colleen Nystedt. "This live streaming experience adds another dimension to the overall motion picture experience and is like watching DVD bonus features, but in real time on the web."
While on set, MovieSet.com will follow daily production from all angles giving fans online an exclusive look at all aspects of the movie making process. Additionally, exclusive interviews with the director, producers, cast and various crew will also be made available daily on MovieSet.com beginning Monday March 16, 2009.
MovieSet.com will also feature three days of LIVE DEATH on March 16th, 17th and 20th. On these three dates, MovieSet.com will stream LIVE from the set of DEATH WARRIOR providing fans unparalleled access to some of the movie's most critical fight sequences as they are being shot on those days.
"Now the toughest fight begins for me... the locations are picked, actors rehearsed, sets are dressed and now it's battling the elements of making movies inside my personal octagon. Every day, like a fighter you come to the set light on your toes, guard up, prepared to strike and wrestle the forces of nature to submission," states director Bill Corcoran. "It could and will come from anywhere, the camera that doesn't work, the exploding 12 k light, the actor who sleeps in or the sudden hurricane. It's a fight every day just to try and get each shot. To attain every part of the dream you have held on to make this a great fight movie."
