Jack Mackenroth, Reality Television Star from 'Project Runway' To Educate About Living with HIV and Combating Stigma in Houston

WHO: Jack Mackenroth, from the hit reality television series
"Project Runway," will be in Houston, participating in the
20th Annual AIDS Walk, representing Living Positive By
Design, his national HIV and AIDS education initiative.

WHY: Through Living Positive By Design, Jack will highlight the
importance of having a positive outlook on life while
effectively managing HIV. Jack has been HIV-positive for more
than 20 years and is one of more than one million people who
are living with HIV and AIDS in the United States(1), many of
whom still have to deal with the stigma of having the disease.
In Houston alone, more than 23,744 residents are living with
HIV or AIDS.(2)
