Saga Communications, Inc. Announces Transfer of Listing to NYSE Alternext US

GROSSE POINTE FARMS, Mich., Feb. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Saga Communications, Inc. (NYSE:SGA) ("Saga" or "the Company") announced today that its Class A Common Stock has qualified to be listed on the NYSE Alternext US LLC (the "NYSE Alternext US"), and that its Class A Common Stock will begin trading on the NYSE Alternext US on February 5, 2009. The Company has begun the process of voluntarily withdrawing the listing of its Class A Common Stock from the New York Stock Exchange in light of its acceptance for listing on the NYSE Alternext US. The Company's Class A Common Stock will continue to trade under its current ticker symbol SGA on the NYSE Alternext US.
