Home Comfort Zones' MyTemp(R) to Be Featured on PBS's Ask This Old House
~ MyTemp Installed in San Diego Area Home to Address Common Temperature Control Problems ~
PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Home Comfort Zones, Inc., developer and manufacturer of the MyTemp room-by-room temperature control and energy management system, announced today that MyTemp will be featured on an upcoming episode of PBS home improvement series Ask This Old House (airing nationally beginning on Thursday, February 26, 2009, check local listings or http://www.thisoldhouse.com/tvschedule)
During the program, Ask This Old House plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey makes a House call to the home of Don and Karen Eisenhart of San Diego, California. The Eisenhart's home suffers from common temperature control problems. Upstairs rooms, like the master bedroom, are too warm while downstairs rooms, like the home office, are too cold. The Home Comfort Zones MyTemp system is installed to address these issues. The Ask This Old House segment highlights MyTemp's patented installation process, its unique combination of pneumatic dampers and wireless temperature sensors (called Smart Controllers(TM)) and its powerful centralized programming and control.
After several weeks with MyTemp, the Eisenharts are very pleased with the results. "This system has given us a significant quality of life improvement," said Don Eisenhart. "We're more comfortable in our home, we sleep better and we can enjoy every room without worrying whether we're going to be too hot or too cold. I'm still amazed at just how effective the system is throughout our home."
"We are very excited to have MyTemp featured on Ask This Old House," said Jon Brodeur, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Home Comfort Zones. "The Eisenharts' temperature control problems are very common, and we believe that this segment illustrates how MyTemp can be easily retrofit into existing homes with immediate and dramatic results."
