NEW ORLEANS, Jan. 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A Citizens Volunteer Action Group, FreedomMarch.org, has selected New Orleans for this weekend's launch of its worldwide campaign to restore America and the global economy.

FreedomMarch.org will kick off a nationwide concert series billed as the biggest Cajun and Zydeco Extravaganza in history starting at 9 pm ET Sunday, January 18, 2009, live from Generations Hall in the world famous New Orleans Warehouse District.

The benefit known as the ZYDECO CAJUN BLOWOUT features the greatest line-up of Zydeco and Cajun musical talent and legends ever assembled on one stage at one time including the Living Legend Ragin' Cajun DOUG KERSHAW; Zydeco sweetheart ROSIE LEDET; the new Prince of Zydeco, LIL NATHAN and THE ZYDECO BIGTIMERS; and Cajun Queen, SARAH JAYDE with her special guest, her grandfather, the legendary Cajun fiddle master HADLEY CASTILLE.

Kershaw, the undisputed King of Cajun music will then crown ROCKIN' DOPSIE, JR. as the new King of Zydeco music. Dopsie and his legendary band, the ZYDECO TWISTERS, featuring ANTHONY DOPSIE and TIGER DOPSIE, will then pay tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King with a special midnight show.
