Will the Next Mozart Win the X-factor?
Will the Next Mozart Win the X-factor?
LONDON, December 10/PRNewswire/ -- While a nation decides who will be crowned the winner of X-factor 2008,
the students of the Royal College of Music continue their quest to translate
the perfume aroma of 'X' by Clive Christian (makers of the World's most
expensive perfume) into a piano composition, preserving the scent into a
timeless piece of music.
The Sound of Perfume's website (http://www.thesoundofperfume.com) is live
today and takes us through the journey of 30 Royal College of Music ('RCM')
students as they set out to translate their interpretation of three Clive
Christian scents, 'X, '1872' and 'No. 1', into a memorable piano piece.
It is with absolute anticipation that Clive Christian awaits to hear how
the aromatic notes of its perfumes will be transformed into key notes. The
Sound of Perfume website will keep you up to date with the journey of each
student via video-logs and will allow you to register interest for attending
the final event in February.
Enter the site to see which finalists RCM's head of composition William
Mival and renowned British pianist Andrew Ball ultimately choose. Find out
which luminaries will be appointed for the judging panel to be announced
shortly. Visit http://www.thesoundofperfume.com to ultimately discover the
sound of the World's most expensive perfume.
