Universal Studios Hollywood Salutes California Firefighters With Tribute Timed to Begin Week of Thanksgiving Holiday

California Firefighters Offered A Free One-Day General Admission to the Entertainment Capital of L.A., Nov. 23 Through Dec. 24

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Universal Studios Hollywood will observe the spirit of this year's Thanksgiving holiday by showing gratitude to the firefighters who helped save lives and homes during this month's tragic Southern California wildfires with the offer of a free one-day admission for firefighters beginning the week of Thanksgiving, Sunday, November 23, and continuing through Wednesday, December 24.

The offer extends to all badged California firefighter personnel. In addition to the free admission offer for firefighters, six family members or friends accompanying a badged firefighter may receive $25 off a one-day admission.

Larry Kurzweil, President and Chief Operating Officer, Universal Studios Hollywood, said, "All of us were moved by the hard work and dedication shown by firefighters during this recent crisis. What better way to mark Thanksgiving and the holiday season than to offer our sincere thanks and appreciation to the men and women who are working so tirelessly to protect us."

The free one-day admission is good for one-time use any time from November 23 through December 24 and cannot be combined with any other offer. Firefighters must present an official ID and a badge at the box office.
