TSS Cross Media Group Provides Text Network for N-TV Germany

GOUDA, The Netherlands, November 26/PRNewswire/ -- TSS Cross Media Group and RTL Germany have signed a contract to replace
the N-TV teletext network.

N-TV is the definitive business TV channel for approximately 100 million
German language speakers across Europe. This German national television
channel which broadcasts news according to the CNN model, is part of the RTL
Group.

It is therefore no coincidence that TSS will provide the channel with the
same systems that the RTL Group in Germany has been using for over 17 years
now.

In particular there is the enormous range of financial content available
through the N-TV teletext service. Financial information is taken directly
from the source (stock exchange) and completely automatically put into the
TSS @lpha content management system where it is converted into text pages.
The largest part of the content is broadcast in linear form in the teletext
carrousel with an important part of that being interactive.

The underlying TSS @lpha system consists of an extended text content
management system linked into TSS Full Data Inserters (FDI2200). This is the
system that puts the teletext service on air.

All news content at N-TV and RTL is produced and broadcast by the
editorial staff on the basis of the flexible @lpha content management system.

The German N-TV teletext service consists of an attractive mix of linear
and interactive teletext which allows Germany's biggest news broadcaster to
provide an excellent, customised range of services for its viewers.
