Digital Out-of-Home Momentum Continues Overseas
NEW YORK, Nov. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The Out-of-Home Video Advertising Bureau (OVAB) today unveiled expansion into Europe, an important milestone in the development of the digital out-of-home industry. The OVAB European chapter is the first overseas group to represent digital out-of-home video networks with a common goal in showcasing the technological, commercial and creative potential of the out-of-home segment. An exciting next step as OVAB continues momentum, OVAB Europe will serve as the overseas counterpart to the US-based group allowing both groups to actively exchange ideas and experiences in an effort to strengthen an understanding within the digital out-of-home market.
"The establishment of OVAB Europe marks another important milestone in our association's early development and the benefits that OVAB has already brought to the US based membership will extend seamlessly into the European market," said Suzanne Alecia, President of OVAB. "Working with this group will continue to bolster our efforts within the industry, making it easier for the international advertising community to evaluate, plan and buy digital and video advertising networks.
The group was established in order to provide uniform industry standards while strengthening the European centric dialogue between manufacturers, service providers and the advertising industry. OVAB Europe will serve as a central point of contact and information source to the existing digital out- of-home industry. The Board of OVAB Europe consists of Dirk Hulsermann (Chairman or President), Ronni Guggenheim (Vice Chairman) and Richard Malley (Treasurer). Founding members of the bureau include:
