Gift of Adoption Fund Presents the Wizard of Oz at the Historic Rivoli Theatre

Proceeds from special screening will unite a child with her permanent family

CEDARBURG, Wis., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In celebration of National Adoption Month, the Gift of Adoption Fund of Wisconsin will present a special screening of the family classic, Wizard of Oz, at the historic Rivoli Theatre in downtown Cedarburg on Sunday, November 23 at 12:30 p.m.

Gift of Adoption believes a child without a permanent home is a child in danger. Orphanages and foster homes are not enough. All children deserve the love, dignity, and chance for a full life that comes with belonging to a family.

Proceeds from this event will be used to unite Antonella with her waiting family. Antonella, a six-year-old girl from Albania, is afflicted with a blood disorder and requires frequent transfusions. In her current environment, doctors estimate that she has a life expectancy of only 20 years. With more advanced treatment, her life could be extended to as long as 50 years. Through this adoption, Antonella's adoptive family is not only giving her a more loving and fulfilling life, but a much longer one as well.

Gift of Adoption shows that you don't have to adopt to give a child a family. Doors open at 12:00 p.m. and the show starts at 12:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the theatre box office for $5 each on the day of the event.
