'Everybody Hates Chris' Star Tyler James Williams to Host the 10th Annual Show
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The ANA Alliance for Family Entertainment(sm) announced today that the 2008 Family Entertainment Awards, formerly known as The Family Television Awards, will air as a one hour special on Friday, December 12 at 9:00 pm ET/PT on The CW. Joining this year as host is Tyler James Williams (Everybody Hates Chris). He will highlight the year's top moments in family friendly entertainment, including television shows, movies, and video games.
The 2008 Family Entertainment Awards honorees have been selected by the Association of National Advertisers, and reflect the mission of the ANA Alliance for Family Entertainment(sm), which is to promote and support the development of high quality content the whole family can enjoy together. The annual awards show honors actors, actresses, producers and content that support the family friendly concept. Dick Clark Productions will produce the show which is presented by the members of the ANA Alliance for Family Entertainment(sm).
The 10th annual edition of the show comes just in time for the holidays when families can come together and watch this unique awards show that recognizes outstanding programming for family viewing.
