Wounded Service Members with Wounded Warrior Project's Soldier Ride Cycle from Little Rock, AR to Nashville, TN to Raise Awareness

WHO:
Soldier Ride is a program of Wounded Warrior Project that provides key rehabilitation opportunities for wounded warriors and raises public awareness for those that have been severely injured during the current war on terror. Wounded Warrior Project also offers services and programs like benefits and career counseling, advocacy initiatives and combat stress seminars to aid in the transition from hospital bed to an independent, productive life.
WHAT:
Wounded Warrior Project's Soldier Ride will bring together wounded warriors from the current war in Iraq and Afghanistan and members of the general public, to cycle on adaptive equipment from Little Rock, AR to Franklin, Tennessee. This ride is sponsored by Actus Lend Lease (see below).

WHY:
Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. WWP serves to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women, to help severely injured service members aid and assist each other and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.
