NY Indie Filmmakers Release Mock Cable Newscast Set Eight Years Into McCain-Run Administration. Sure, it's Funny, but is it That Far-Fetched?
NEW YORK, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Most people in the music business know David Fagin as the founder/vocalist/songwriter/guitarist for New York City power-pop band The Rosenbergs, as well as a critically successful solo artist. Fagin has always done things his way, whether it was opposing industry giants like Jimmy Iovine and Doug Morris in publicly refusing to sign an exploitative deal, or having one of the group's tours sponsored by Napster back in its renegade days.

However, it's David's production company, Noshpit Entertainment, that has been getting attention recently for releasing a mock cable newscast that is set eight years into a McCain-run administration.
Imagine a world where global warming is so bad it's ninety-seven degrees in Vermont in January, health insurance is in such short supply Comcast launches the "Home Surgery Network," and Osama Bin Laden has his own reality show on VH1 called "Bin Laden's Bin Lovin'."
Says Fagin: "I wrote the morning show piece because I was/am astonished as to how many people are seriously considering voting Republican in the upcoming election. I said, 'What's the worst that could happen?,' and multiplied it times ten. Hopefully, this tongue-in-cheek glimpse into what the country might look like eight years into the McCain/Palin administration will scare people into voting democratic."
