We know our viewers have plenty of choices, so we pledge to make ourselves indispensable on what promises to be an historic evening."

On Election Night, CN8 Political Director Lynn Doyle and Reporter Kevin Walsh host live coverage that begins at 8 p.m. and continues until the race is called or one of the candidates concedes. CN8's Mary Caraccioli will be reporting from the Washington, D.C. bureau, while Steve Adubato reports from New York. Coverage will be supplemented with live reports from Delaware and Virginia, special guests from CN8's Boston studio, and cut-ins to both the Obama and McCain headquarters.

Election Day kicks off at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, with a special live airing of "Roll Call TV with Robert Traynham." Panelists will track the action at the polls, exploring battleground states, who women are voting for and if African-Americans are turning out in big numbers. The program will re-air at 7:30 p.m.

The coverage doesn't end after a winner is declared. "Your Morning" will air live Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 6-8 a.m., with Traynham providing his political expertise and reviewing breaking news. A re-airing of Election Night coverage follows from 8-11 a.m., with "Your Morning" News Anchor Gwen Owens on standby to pre-empt the show if breaking news warrants.

CN8's election coverage will be made available through Comcast Digital Cable's ON DEMAND service, allowing customers access to these exclusive broadcasts and historic events at a time that best meets their schedules.
