NEW YORK, Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- HITN, the first Spanish-language educational and cultural network in the United States, is proud to announce that it is extending its national reach by bringing its award-winning programming to Houston on Comcast. Comcast customers who subscribe to the Canales Selecto package in Houston will now have the opportunity to tune in to HITN's mix of original educational programming, cultural/news productions, and entertainment series on channel 526.
"The Latino population in Houston has experienced substantial growth in the last decade," said Jose Luis Rodriguez, HITN-TV Founder and President. "We are pleased to launch on Comcast and further expand HITN's presence in the Hispanic market. Our mix of educational, cultural and entertainment programs were created to empower and educate Hispanics to take advantage of the opportunities this country has to offer," Rodriguez adds "The more viewers we can reach, the more HITN can help enable these individuals and families to lead fuller, richer lives."
