To celebrate Emmy's Diamond Anniversary, Beaulieu Vineyard has created an exclusive label for the Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet, the featured dinner wine. Inspired by the winged Emmy "muse" and the 60th Anniversary's signature artwork, the custom image is silk screened on the bottle in gold and red.

BV Georges de Latour was the first private reserve Cabernet produced in America and has been a benchmark in California winemaking since the first vintage in 1936. Named for the winery founder, it is the most prestigious wine produced by Beaulieu Vineyard. With a suggested retail price of $105 per bottle, this highly collected wine has been poured at the White House for presidents and heads of state. This will be the fourth consecutive year that Georges de Latour has been poured at the Emmys.

"It is a tremendous honor for Beaulieu Vineyard wines to be served at the Primetime Emmy Awards Diamond Anniversary celebrations," said Jeffrey Stambor, Senior Winemaker. "Georges de Latour has been the first and best toast of American celebrations for more than 60 years and we are delighted to salute the exceptional talent being honored by the Academy once again."

The 2006 Beaulieu Vineyard Carneros Chardonnay will join the 2004 Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon at the table and will be paired with Master Chef Joachim Splichal's impressive menu for the Governors Ball, the official celebration of the 60th Primetime Emmy(R) Awards.
