Catherine Yang Interviews CFO Adam Wasserman Live on Asia Pacific Channel
WUXI, Jiangsu, China, Aug. 7 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- China Wind Systems, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: CWSI) ("China Wind Systems" or the "Company"), which through its affiliates supplies high-precision components to the wind power industry and industrial equipment to the textile industry in the People's Republic of China, announced today that its CFO, Adam Wasserman, appeared in a live interview at 6:50 pm EDT August 6, (6:50 am Hong Kong time, August 7) on Bloomberg TV's Asia Pacific channel to discuss the Company's growing wind power business.
Bloomberg Live Anchor Catherine Yang, based in Hong Kong, discussed the wind-power industry in China and the Company's business platform with Wasserman, who spoke from a remote studio in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. In the interview Wasserman stated that China Wind Systems could move to the NASDAQ stock exchange within six to eight months. The Company's new rolled-ring factory, which should be completed by October 2008, could boost its sales of forged rolled rings to $40 million in 2009, Wasserman also said in the interview. The Company has received verbal orders from customers pending production of prototype products, Wasserman said.
"Our main focus is to get our new facility up and running -- our expansion plans are on target," Wasserman stated in the interview. "There is a great push for alternative energy.
