America's Leader in Outdoor TV Recognized for Creative, High-Quality Programs and Promos at 29th Annual Telly Awards

TEMECULA, Calif., July 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Outdoor Channel, America's Leader in Outdoor TV, garnered 16 honors, including five Silver Tellys, in the 29th Annual Telly Awards for the network's innovative, high-quality programs and promos. With over 13,500 submissions from across all 50 states, only 10 percent of all entries earn prestigious Silver Telly Awards. The Silver Award is the highest honor.

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards honor outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, among other categories. A prestigious judging panel of over 40 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly, judge the competition. Judges evaluate entries to recognize distinction in creative work - entries do not compete against each other - rather entries are judged against a high standard of merit.
