ENGLEWOOD, Colo., July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Hilarious Alabama native Steve Brown will perform in the Starz original stand-up comedy series "Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand-up" on Wednesday, July 30 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).

Native of Tuscaloosa, Al., Brown's television credits include HBO's "Def Comedy Jam," "Comics Unleashed," and BET's "Comic View." In addition, he has appeared in the 2006 comedy film Madea's Family Reunion. Brown has performed his comedic abilities at comedy clubs such as "Virginia House of Comedy," "Zanies" and "The Improv". Graduated from Stillman College and member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Brown likes to give back to the community in which he volunteers as a Little League, middle school and high school football coach and finds time to substitute teach in the Tuscaloosa county school system.

"Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand-up" is executive produced by one of America's most popular actor/comedians, Martin Lawrence.
