Celebrities, Leading Filmmakers and Musicians to Come Together for Pangea Day, Saturday, May 10

PANGEA DAY, a global day of film, speakers, and music watched simultaneously

around the world will take place this Saturday, May 10, 2008.

Media are invited to attend the North American live broadcast venue in
Los Angeles at the Sony Pictures Studio.

Press Arrival & Check-in is at 9:00 am PDT. Show will begin at
11:00am PDT.

The venue is now closed to general public. All press MUST be accredited by
Friday, May 9. NON-ACCREDITED PRESS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED DAY OF EVENT.

PANGEA DAY DETAILS AND BACKGROUND:
On May 10, 2008, at 18:00 GMT, millions of people all over the world will
come together to watch a 4-hour program of short films, coupled with talks
from CNN's Christiane Amanpour, Queen Noor of Jordan, child soldier
Ishmael Beah, and many more. The program will hosted by Lisa Ling,
Current TV's Max and Jason, and June Arunga. Pangea Day will also include
live music, including performances by The Eurythmics' Dave Stewart,
Gilberto Gil, Rokia Traore, Mohamed Mounir and Iranian rock band
Hypernova.

Pangea Day will be broadcast around the globe in eight languages and
through multiple forms of media:

The live broadcast will include audience reactions from 5 venues official
venues in Cairo, Kigali, London, Mumbai and Rio de Janeiro, as well as
some of the thousands registered Friends of Pangea Day watch parties being
planned in over 100 countries. Pangea Day, with support from Nokia, is
encouraging people around the world to share their photos and videos on
ovi.com/pangeaday for inclusion in the broadcast.

The program will feature 24 short films selected from an international
competition that generated more than 2,500 submissions from 105 countries.
Films were chosen based on their ability to inspire, transform and allow
us to see the world through another person's eyes.

The Pangea Day program will also include the five winning films from 2008
Nokia Mobile Filmmaking Awards.
