Xenophile Media and Fresh TV Receive International Interactive Emmy(R) Award Nomination for Total Drama Island - Totally Interactive!

TORONTO, Canada, March 6/PRNewswire/ --

- Immersive, Interactive Summer Camp Environment for Tweens Created by
Xenophile Media in Association With Fresh TV for TELETOON

Xenophile Media and Fresh TV have just received an International
Interactive Emmy(R) nomination for their work on the world's first
interactive animated reality show, Total Drama Island - Totally Interactive!

Developed to engage tween viewers of Fresh TV's Total Drama Island, a 26
episode animated series on TELETOON, Total Drama Island - Totally
Interactive! is an immersive and dynamic online environment that lets viewers
play along with the show and compete in fun summer camp challenges each week.

"Total Drama Island - Totally Interactive!, is a totally new concept that
challenges the relationship between traditional and interactive
entertainment," said Xenophile Media co-founder Thomas Wallner. "It's
extremely rewarding to have Xenophile Media's work nominated again for an
International Interactive Emmy(R). After winning an International Interactive
Emmy(R) Award for the ReGenesis Extended Reality Game and a Primetime Emmy(R)
Award for the Fallen Alternate Reality Game in 2007, this latest nomination
proves that we continue to innovate and deliver compelling new story-telling
platforms."

"Fresh TV is thrilled with this nomination on many levels. Successes like
Total Drama Island - Totally Interactive! speak to our commitment to reach
the tween and teen market via innovative, non-traditional channels," said Tom
McGillis, Fresh TV President.

During each episode of Total Drama Island viewers were prompted to join
their favourite characters at Camp Wawanakwa by going to
http://tdi.teletoon.com on their computers. Players were able to customize
their own avatars, hang out with characters from the show and play a new game
each week based on the challenges that appeared in that week's episode on TV.
By playing all 26 games, players were able to earn in-game currency called
"marshmallows" and trade them in the Tuck Shop for desktop backgrounds or hip
accessories like hats and glasses for their avatars. At the end of the
series, the player with the highest score won a guest appearance for their
avatar in the final broadcast episode of the show. Xenophile also created a
downloadable mobile game based on the series.

"The success of Total Drama Island - Totally Interactive! is the result
of solid collaboration with Fresh TV and a growing audience that wants to
play across different media platforms," said co-founder Patrick Crowe.
"Xenophile Media has become a leader in interactive entertainment by
designing content that motivates viewers to engage TV programs in totally new
way."

Total Drama Island and Total Drama Island - Totally Interactive! are
distributed by Cake Entertainment.
