NEW YORK, March 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Stephen Colbert has announced that "The Colbert Report" with its 80 staffers will be heading to Philadelphia to cover the all-important Pennsylvania Democratic Primary. This marks the first time the show is broadcasting from a remote location. In the proud tradition of his Presidential Campaign, Colbert has once again courageously partnered with the first name in electoral snacking: Doritos.

"The Colbert Report: Dorito's Spicy Sweet Pennsylvania Primary Coverage From Chili-Delphia - The City Of Brotherly Crunch!" will be taped at the 900- seat The Annenberg Center for the Performing Art's Zellerbach Theatre on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania and will air nightly at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT from Monday, April 14 through Thursday, April 17.

Colbert said of his historic visit, "The road to the Democratic nomination goes through Pennsylvania and I intend to make my show the decisive pothole on that road!" Adding, "Plus, it's just across the river from Camden, New Jersey!"

"The Colbert Report" has once again partnered with the charity DonorsChoose.org which allows donors to directly fund programs in public schools in all 50 states. This time, the show is proud to assist public schools in Pennsylvania. During Colbert's bid to get on the South Carolina Presidential Primary ballot, the host asked his viewers in lieu of campaign contributions to donate to DonorsChoose.org in his name. The previous on-air push raised $66,000 and helped 17,000 public school students in South Carolina. DonorsChoose.org is dedicated to addressing the scarcity and inequitable distribution of learning materials and experiences in the country's public schools.

"The Colbert Report" airs regularly Monday-Thursday at 11:30 p.m. following "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." Repeat episodes air Monday- Thursday at 1:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and Friday at 8:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. (all times ET/PT).

"The Colbert Report" is produced by Jon Stewart's Busboy Productions, Inc. in association with Spartina Productions, Inc. Stewart, Colbert and Allison Silverman are the executive producers with Meredith Bennett and Richard Dahm as co-executive producers. Jim Hoskinson is the director. Lou Wallach and Dan Powell are the executives in charge of production for COMEDY CENTRAL.
