WASHINGHTON, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- On February 27, 2008, Fortune 500 CEO and Chairman of the American Clean Skies Foundation (ACSF), Aubrey K. McClendon will host a press conference at the Willard Intercontinental to announce the launch date for the independent CleanSkies.tv Network, and the launch of a multi-million dollar media advocacy campaign to promote cleaner energy sources that includes a website, a national magazine, and a major print and television ad campaign. The American Clean Skies Foundation was formed to advocate the use of clean-burning natural gas and encourage the conservation and efficient use of all types of energy.

CleanSkies.tv will be an independent 24-7 online TV network devoted exclusively to energy and the environment. CleanSkies.tv will feature live daily news updates, in-depth newsmagazine content, and round table discussions with policymakers, key industry insiders and environmental activists. The online news service will feature comprehensive coverage from seasoned journalists including, Kelley Rickenbaker, former editor and manager for CBS and CNN, Jim Allen, Susan McGinnis, former anchor on The Early Show and Anna Davalos, former weekend supervisor/web producer for the Associated Press Online Video Network.

There will also be a presentation on highlights from two national polls sponsored by ACSF, conducted by Bellwether Research of Alexandria, VA and The Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The polling is some of the most comprehensive on energy, the environment, and people's attitudes toward different fuel choices.
