ABC Film & Video, LLC Named 'One of the Top Emerging Companies' Nationwide by FundingPost Under the Leadership of Actor/Filmmaker/CEO Shashi Balooja

NEW YORK, Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- ABC Film & Video, LLC-Media at Large is a full service independent production company. Founded only 3 years ago, their vast portfolio includes the multi-award winning short film "Ariana", the feature film "Exposed", starring the CEO of ABC Film & Video Shashi Balooja, as well as "And Then Came Love" starring Vanessa Williams, Eartha Kitt, and Michael Boatman, which was acquired by Warner Brothers. After being featured in magazines such as Variety and in the New York Times, "And Then Came Love" is currently in major retail outlets such as Best Buy, and Amazon.com. ABC Film & Video's projects are catalogued on their website, http://www.abcfilmvideo.com/. ABC won the "Pitching Across America" competition last fall, judged by a panel of over 100 VC's and Angel Investors.

Projects in 2008 include "Behind Door #2", "Heaven", "Crumbling", and "XS". Three additional projects will be announced shortly. Budgets for the upcoming features range from 0.5M to over 25M. CEO Shashi Balooja currently owns the majority of the company and is in the process of partnering with qualified backers. CEO Shashi Balooja states, "Key factors to guarantee successes, are well developed projects, stellar talent, strong visual aesthetic, efficiency in pre-production, production and post production schedules, strong marketing, and distribution cross-platform strategies. And the occasional jump off the deep end, eyes closed project to keep it real."

While maintaining a smaller production facility on 5th Avenue in Manhattan, the main production studio will move to an approximately 10,000 sq. ft. space (currently in negotiation) in Harlem. This space will be primarily a full service film production facility and sound stage, which transforms into a 150 seat multi-media theatre for live performances and art installations. In house will be an acting studio, equipment rental house, and sales franchise for art and design technology.

"Our goal is to independently make three to five feature films a year, be producers for hire, and provide other filmmakers, corporations, and actors with production and support services for their projects. In addition, we will be providing educational and outreach programs, to enable local youth and homeless talent to earn a living through the performing arts," says CEO Shashi Balooja.
