'This Is Noise' From Rise Against

Exclusive iTunes Release January 15th, Full Online Release January 22nd

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Punk rock champions Rise Against are starting 2008 with a bang, digging into their vaults for the digital-only release of their "This Is Noise" rarities EP on Geffen Records. Specially low-priced at $3.99, the five song collection from-the-vaults will be released exclusively on iTunes January 15th, then a week later on January 22nd across all digital platforms.

The EP is not new material, but rather, a compilation of previously hard-to-find tracks. Says Tim McIlrath, "We put together a little New Year's goodie bag for all you die-hards in the U.S. who have been asking about our straggling B-Sides that are floating around out there, in various forms. Rise Against band members vocalist Tim McIlrath, guitarist Zach Blair, bassist Joe Principe and drummer Brandon Barnes are currently working on an album of new material for an anticipated fall '08 release.
