Michael Kim Hired to Spearhead Affiliate Sales for Outdoor Channel's Western Region

New Vice President of Affiliate Sales Brings a Wealth of Experience to Outdoor Enthusiast Network

TEMECULA, Calif., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Outdoor Channel, America's Leader in Outdoor TV, announced today the appointment of Michael Kim to vice president of affiliate sales for the Western region. A seasoned sales and marketing veteran, Kim brings to Outdoor Channel extensive experience in high-profile account management with Fox Cable Networks, Tennis Channel, Showtime Networks and others. He will be based in Los Angeles.

Prior to joining Outdoor Channel, Kim was the director of national accounts for Fox Cable Networks where he managed contractual obligations for DirecTV, EchoStar, Cable One, Mediacom and Verizon for all Fox Cable Networks and Regional Sports Networks. Previously, Kim served as the director for the Western Region of The Tennis Channel and also held a position as manager at Showtime Networks, Inc.

Kim has served on the board of directors of the California Cable Telecommunications Association as well as the Arizona-New Mexico Cable Association. He has also acted as an associate member of several other cable telecommunications associations. He earned his M.B.A. from Pepperdine University in Culver City, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lafayette College. He currently resides in Redondo Beach, CA.
