Playbook and Deen Brothers Helps Party Planners From Prep to Clean Up
BENTONVILLE, Ark., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sam's Club kicks off the playoffs by helping football fans meet their food and party needs this season with the Big Game Playbook showcasing great and easy tips to help even the newest rookie plan a great party for "any given Sunday," playoff match or the big game.
Restaurateurs and cookbook authors Jamie & Bobby Deen, sons of Food Network celebrity Paula Deen, are included in the playbook along with a special pizza recipe for Sam's Club that brings a new twist to a game day tradition.
The Playbook highlights everything a party-planner needs to know, from how to prep, get guests engaged and clean up. Sam's Club is offering the playbook free to members and guests in club or at samsclub.com/biggame. *A service fee of 10 percent may apply to non-member purchases in club, and membership is required to purchase items online. Annual membership starts at $35.
"Everyone wants to throw a memorable party without overspending," said Jamie Deen. "Bobby and I are excited to team up with Sam's Club and Food Network Kitchens to provide fans with tips to make party-planning fun and easy, from the menu and venue, to activities and more."
No matter which team is on the field, big game football parties are the top at-home party of the year. These parties surpass New Year's Eve parties and include an average of 17 guests.
Sam's Club is the one-stop solution hosts count on for all of their party-planning needs, from High Definition TVs to catch all the action to appetizers, main meals, party favors, cleaning supplies and more. The Food Network Kitchens are a trusted source for food information and recipes that has grown and evolved uniquely over the 14 years Food Network has been producing food television. The Kitchens have authored five cookbooks and provide recipes and culinary content to FoodNetwork.com, and other numerous properties at the network and beyond.
"We designed our playbook for the home team quarterback -- who is often mom -- but whoever takes on the challenge of throwing a party this season will have both a great defense and offensive strategy resulting in the ultimate lineup for a party," said Dante Anderson, vice president at Sam's Club.
The playbook also includes unofficial but common sense explanations for football terminology, touchdown trivia and halftime games to keep the party rolling no matter what the score.
