GSN Brings Back the Classics to Late Night

TV FANS CAN WATCH SUCH POPULAR PANEL SHOWS AS 'WHAT'S MY LINE' AND 'I'VE GOT A SECRET' NIGHTLY FROM 3:00-4:00 AM ET

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Television fans will enjoy the return of classic game show programming to GSN's late night schedule. Starting tonight, GSN is adding two of TV's most popular panel shows to its lineup with the broadcast of the John Daly hosted "What's My Line?" (WML) at 3:00 AM ET and "I've Got A Secret" (IGAS) with Garry Moore from 3:30-4:00 AM.

"What's My Line?" is the longest running primetime game show ever, airing over 17 years. The game play consisted of four panelists who tried to guess either the unusual occupation of a guest contestant or a product associated with them. Not only was the format well-known for this popular show, but so were its panelists. Audiences enjoyed tuning into the live broadcast weekly to play along with Arlene Francis, Dorothy Kilgallen and Bennett Cerf.

"I've Got A Secret," another long-running primetime network series, ranks as one of the most popular game shows of all-time. The format featured four celebrity panelists who by cross examination tried to determine each contestant's secret. Bill Cullen, Henry Morgan, Betsy Palmer and Bess Myerson made each episode memorable as the show's panel.

Notable episodes this month include celebrity appearances such as:

-- Jan. 7 -- Jayne Mansfield (WML)
-- Jan. 9 -- Milton Berle (IGAS)
-- Jan. 10 -- Liberace and Wilt Chamberlain (IGAS)
-- Jan. 15 -- Warren Beatty (WML) and Jonathan Winters (IGAS)
-- Jan. 18 -- Danny Kaye (WML)
-- Jan. 20 -- Ed Sullivan (WML) and Arlene Francis (IGAS)
-- Jan. 23 -- Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow (WML)
