Emmitt Smith Gets Back in the Game with Just For Men(R) Haircolor

Team of Sport Figures Featured in Just For Men TV Spot

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Just For Men(R), the world leader in men's hair color, announces Emmitt Smith as the newest member of its team of sports celebrity spokespersons. Smith joins Keith Hernandez and Walt Frazier in the latest television spot, "Rest Home," which first aired during the NFL Playoffs on Saturday, January 5, 2008.

Building on the long-running commercial that pairs Hernandez and Frazier as bar side analysts, the newest spot introduces Smith in the backdrop of a retirement home. Smith, who is pictured with a graybeard that has relegated him to a rocking chair, is visited by Hernandez and Frazier. After coloring his beard, Smith scores a touchdown in the Orange Bowl, with support and cheers from cheerleaders as well as his sports star pals. Smith joins the Just For Men team with a long list of record breaking accomplishments on the field. The former Dallas Cowboys star played in three Super Bowl games with the team, and was the only running back to have won a Super Bowl championship, the NFL Most Valuable Player award, the NFL rushing crown and the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player award all in the same season in 1993.

"We are so excited to have Emmitt on our all-star team," said John Lerch, chief advertising officer, worldwide, Combe. "He personifies our Just For Men users, who are active, involved, and have a lot to offer. They stay in the game."

In good company, Smith worked alongside Just For Men veterans Keith Hernandez, former MLB star and Mets analyst for SportsNet, New York and Walt Frazier, former NBA hero and Madison Square Garden's lead Knicks analyst to produce this commercial.

"Clyde and Keith have been doing these Just For Men spots for six years, so I was the rookie. But the guys made it really cool and fun for me," said Smith.

The spot will air again during the AFC Divisional Playoff Game on Saturday, January 12, 2008. Just For Men advertising will continue to run as part of the brand's sponsorship for ESPN 2's Friday Night Fights and will continue throughout the season. This sponsorship marks the brand's third year as a presenting sponsor.
