Digeo(R) and CloverLeaf Collaborate to Deliver Personalized High Definition Walled Garden Service

Digeo's Retail Moxi(R) Products to Provide CloverLeaf Digital's DotDaily Walled Garden Service Directly to Consumers

BROOKLYN, N.Y., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- CloverLeaf Digital LLC, a leading provider of interactive television applications and services, announced today that Digeo, Inc., makers of the Emmy(R)-award winning Moxi(R) digital media recorder (DMR), has signed an agreement to license DotDaily, CloverLeaf's industry-leading interactive TV news and information service for inclusion in Digeo's forthcoming retail Moxi products.

Inclusion in Digeo's retail Moxi products represents CloverLeaf's first partnership with a consumer electronics company and first direct to consumer service. In a major breakthrough, the Moxi-delivered DotDaily walled garden will be available in high definition, allowing for a truly high resolution interactive TV experience that includes the debut of the DotDaily personalization engine, allowing Moxi users to personalize their interactive experience.

"CloverLeaf's DotDaily walled garden is a perfect fit for our strategy of offering the premier high definition entertainment experience," said Mike Fidler, CEO at Digeo. "With DotDaily, we are able to provide Moxi users with a unique, personalized and localized news and information service that is optimized for the high definition television viewing experience."

"The retail Moxi digital media recorder is a real powerhouse," said CloverLeaf Digital Founder and Managing Partner, Lawrence Brickman. "We are very excited to have the opportunity to provide a service supported by one of the few boxes with the horsepower to support a high definition walled garden service."

CloverLeaf's DotDaily is an interactive television news and information portal, also known as a walled garden. Featuring news and sports from Associated Press, weather content from AccuWeather, and lottery results, horoscopes and other valuable content, DotDaily has until now been available exclusively through facilities-based providers such as telephone companies providing IPTV services and cable operators. "Consumer electronics companies are increasingly differentiating their products by offering connectivity to the Internet from devices of all kinds," said CloverLeaf's Brickman. "With our established track record of delivering custom managed content services and optimizing for the unique characteristics of embedded platforms, CloverLeaf is well-positioned to meet this expanding market need."
