Rosanne Cash Recuperating After Brain Surgery

NEW YORK, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- After undergoing brain surgery on November 27th at New York's Presbyterian Hospital, singer/songwriter/author Rosanne Cash is currently recovering comfortably at her home in New York City. The surgery, to correct a structural problem caused by a rare but benign condition -- Chiari 1 Malformation, was successful and she is expected to make a full recovery. Ms. Cash will resume the recording of her debut album for Manhattan Records in early 2008. She will also resume her live performance schedule in the spring and complete a new book to be published by Viking in early 2009.

Ms. Cash signed with Manhattan Records earlier this year and looks forward to her first recording with the EMI-based label.
