Comcast Names Robert S. Victor Senior Vice President of Strategic and Financial Planning

PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA)(NASDAQ:CMCSK), the country's leading cable, entertainment and communications company, today announced that Robert S. Victor will join the company as Senior Vice President of Strategic and Financial Planning, effective January 7, 2008. In this new role, Victor will be responsible for overseeing the corporate strategy and financial planning functions at Comcast. He will report to Michael J. Angelakis, Chief Financial Officer, Comcast Corporation.

Victor will be joining Comcast from The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he started his career in 1988. He currently serves as a Partner and Managing Director in BCG's Washington, DC, office, and heads the firm's Technology, Media and Telecommunications Practice on the East Coast. In this capacity, he has led the development and implementation of strategic business transformations for many of the firm's largest and most sophisticated technology clients. Additionally, Victor served as a Principal and core member of BCG's eVentures Group, where he participated in the development of several new businesses, including Site59, which was subsequently sold to Travelocity. Victor was also a founding member of BCG's Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur offices.

Victor earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Harvard Law School and an AB degree in Philosophy from Dartmouth College.

Victor grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and will relocate to Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
