Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and First Lady Maria Shriver Induct Newest Honorees at The California Museum's California Hall of Fame December 5th, 2007

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Nov. 28 /PRNewswire/ --
WHAT: Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and First Lady Maria Shriver will
induct 13 leaders, trailblazers and legends into The California
Museum's California Hall of Fame, a program conceived by Shriver
celebrating extraordinary Californians who have made their mark on
the state, the nation and the world.

All media are invited to cover The California Museum's California
Hall of Fame induction events, including exhibit press preview,
red carpet arrival and official induction ceremony to take place
at The California Museum.

WHEN: Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

10:30 a.m..12 Noon: The California Museum's California Hall of
Fame Exhibit Press Preview:
Executive Director Claudia French and Director of Exhibits and
Programs Amanda Meeker will lead the press preview of the
California Hall of Fame exhibit. The exhibit showcases each
inductee's unique contributions with biographical information,
photographs, artifacts and memorabilia, some of which have never
been exhibited. Refreshments will be provided. Remarks start at
10:40 a.m. sharp; tour of exhibit at 11 a.m.

5 p.m.: Media Check-in
Note: All media who would like to attend must RSVP by Tuesday,
December 4 at 6 p.m., due to security and limited space. Please

6 p.m.

6 p.m.: Red Carpet Arrivals of 2007 Inductees
Steve Jobs, Willie Mays, Robert Mondavi, Rita Moreno, Elizabeth
Taylor, and Tiger Woods will walk the red carpet with Governor
Arnold Schwarzenegger and First Lady Maria Shriver, along with the
family members for the posthumous awards: Ansel Adams, Milton
Berle, Jackie Robinson, Jonas Salk, M.D., John Steinbeck, Earl
Warren and John Wayne.

7 p.m..8 p.m.: The California Museum's 2007 California Hall of
Fame Induction Ceremony
In an official state ceremony, the Governor and First Lady will
present the inductees with the Spirit of California medal. Due to
space limitations, the ceremony will be pooled for TV.
