Newswomen's Club of New York Announces 2007 Front Page Awards Winners

NEW YORK, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Newswomen's Club of New York announces its 69th annual Front Page Awards to 45 outstanding women journalists in print, broadcast and online media.

The awards will be presented Nov. 29 at the club's annual awards dinner at the historic National Arts Club, where the Newswomen's club is headquartered. Guest speaker Donna Hanover, Co-Host of "The Morning Show" on WOR Radio 710, will deliver the evening's keynote address.

Newswomen's Club President Jeanne King said, "Not only has the number of entries in all fields of communication grown exponentially, but so has the quality and caliber of the work."

"Visual Art Design" makes its debut as a Front Page Awards category this year--representing the Club's commitment to honoring those who are part of the growth of new media.
