New Borders(R) Store to Open at Towne Square in Las Vegas, Nev.

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Borders, Inc. will open a 22,000 square-foot store at Towne Square in Las Vegas, Nev. in February 2008. The store will be located at the intersection of Interstate 15 and Interstate 215 on Las Vegas Boulevard.

The new site was selected based on a variety of factors, including consumer demographics, the strength of the co-tenants, traffic patterns, visibility, the availability of parking and the overall attractiveness of the new site. Nearby stores include Borders on South Decatur Boulevard, on Rainbow Boulevard, in Henderson, in Summerlin and at McCarran International Airport, and Borders Express stores in The Meadows and Fashion Show Mall.
