'Yo Momma' Host Wilmer Valderrama and Special Guest Frankie J to Perform for Troops on USO Tour to Korea
ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Actor and comedian Wilmer Valderrama will travel to Korea and perform for troops as part of his second USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour August 7-15. He will be joined by R&B singer Frankie J and cast members from the New York and Los Angeles seasons of "Yo Momma," the MTV reality show created, produced and hosted by Valderrama.

An avid supporter of the U.S. military, Valderrama recently met with the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels, the world's first officially sanctioned military aerial demonstration team, and took a special VIP flight. Before taking to the sky, he traveled on a USO tour to Germany where he signed autographs, posed for pictures and performed a host of side-splitting jokes to troops.
"For as long as I can remember I have wanted to go on a USO tour and visit with troops," says Valderrama. "Now every opportunity I get I go -- I go to show my support, to express my thanks and, most importantly, to do whatever I can for those that protect our borders everyday."
Recognized for his portrayal of 'Fez' on "That 70's Show," Valderrama began his acting career after being prompted to get an agent by his high school drama teacher. He was immediately cast in the CBS miniseries "Four Corners" and the Disney Channel's "Omba Makamba." Now the voice of 'Manny Garcia' on Disney Channel's "Handy Manny," Valderrama has starred in such films as "Fast Food Nation" and "Unaccompanied Minors." Coming up, Wilmer can be seen in "Days of Wrath" opposite Laurence Fishburne and "Columbus Day" opposite Val Kilmer.
Platinum recording artist Frankie J, born Francisco Javier Bautista, Jr., is an experienced singer and songwriter, having signed his first record deal at age 15. He joined Columbia Records in 2003 and has had several hit songs including "Don't Wanna Try" and "Obsession."
